I work at a restaurant, well i've worked at a restaurant for almost 2 years.  I was offered my job by a family friend.  He started working March 06' and I in June 06'.  Basically, 3 months apart.  Days and hours used to be great.  But now because of the economy, nothings been too good. I got laid off of my Tuesdays & Thursdays and i was left with Weekends and compromising work days with my co-worker.  At first he was sorta nice about it.  Now he has this impression that he can tell me when and when not to work.  He thinks he's my boss.  Oh boy is he wrong.  So i asked him for last Saturday, which I worked.  And i asked for this Saturday(6 hours) but he gave me Friday(5 hours) yeah one hour less but one hour is a lot when you work at a restaurant.  I have something to do this Friday and i asked for Saturday.  So he told me he couldn't give me Saturday because he needed the money and his father was furious that i worked on a Saturday.  Mind you, when i dont work on weekends he gets 3 days of work which is a total of 17 hours which gives him 119$ plus tips.  What in the world does he do with that money?  Actually, 2 weeks worth of that kind of money.  Really, i survive on like freakin 70 to 80$ for 2 weeks. Yes, two freakin weeks!!! I'm 17 and i pay for my Verizon phone bill (90$) and part of the comcast bill (70$) and i'm going down the shore for vacation during my Senior week and that's 186$.  He's a college student, but he doesn't pay for much.  He also has a phone bill but he doesnt hav texting so it's barely anything to pay.  And he pays for gas & food. Oh by the way, most of the time he carpools to college.  I told him not to come in on Saturday because i'll be there.  I have been looking for another job since i do have experience in a couple of fields, but it's just so hard to get a damn job. Do i have a point or am I wrong?

I'm a total idiot, i was trying to figure out how to blog for like 10 minutes on a friends computer.

I have a friend who has been with her boyfriend for almost three years.  But this is no lovey dovey relationship.  They've had a lot of problems in the past which i won't describe or anything but let's just say she's had bruises.  They've broke up so any times that i've just stopped counting.  Now, she says she loves him and all but she wants to date other people.  She doesn't say this to him, but to us (her friends.)  So she listens to herself & she goes out to hangout with other guys she met somewhere.  I'm not one to judge, but I do find it wrong how she always says "Oh i love him but i don't want to be with him.  We always fight & i'm tired"   but the next week she says things like "Oh i don't know what i was saying before, i was only kidding.  He's the love of my life & he makes me happy.  I can't break up with him."  And she's one of those girls who makes up excuses like "But his birthday is right around the corner"  when in reality his birthday is 4 months away.  Or she says "But prom is coming up and we have a dog to pay for"  I understand the dog sitaution, but if were a really nice guy he would finish the payments whether or not he was with her considering how he wanted the dog & promised he would pay for her.  However, Prom i do not understand.  She wants himto pay for everything because she feels bad asking her dad for the money (Yeah yeah i understand but they're not in a bad money situation.)  And she feels as if she can't find another date, when in reality there are a couple of guys who want to go with her.  My friends and I have been encouraging her to break-up with him.  He his the definition of whitetrash.  He's a horrible person.  I'll give him credit for those couple of days a year that he's a nice guy but other than that, he doesn't deserve any credit.  He is overly jealous.  When she broke up with him once he left her awful, threatening, ugly, disgusting voicemails.  It's kind of like a "If i can't haveyou than no one can" type of situation.  Basically, everyone wants her to break-up with him, even her parents.  They used to like him until he beat her, well not necessarily beat but he did choke her while she was on the ground and i think he punched her arm pretty hard during a fight on the street (she says it was her fault).  I've tried multiple times to break it to her that their relationship is going to the shits & they should jsut end it now, but she doesn't want to take it like a woman.  How can i break it to her lighlty without sounding so rude & mean? Also, do you know anyone who is or was in the same situation as her?  Ahhh I'm so tired of typing.
